I wear hats almost every day and I am so picky about fit — most bucket hats either sit too high or feel stiff after a few hours. The Cotton Candy from Lumara is genuinely the most comfortable hat I have ever owned. It moulds to your head without feeling tight and the yarn is so soft it doesn't itch at all. I wore it for a full day out in the sun and forgot I even had it on.

The Noir is stunning in person — way more textured and detailed than the photos show. 10/10 would buy again.

I bought two at the same time and both arrived beautifully packaged. The Soleil yellow is even brighter and more cheerful in real life. The Glacé blue is the perfect powder blue. What I love most is how lightweight they are — I have a small head and was worried they'd be too big but they sit perfectly. My sister immediately asked me where I got them.

I wore the Crimson to a family braai and received so many compliments — people kept asking if it was imported. When I told them it was from a local store called Lumara they were shocked at the quality. The floral detailing on the brim is so intricate and every stitch is perfectly even. This one is holding up beautifully even after washing. Supporting local has never felt this good.

I initially ordered the wrong colour by mistake — completely my fault. I contacted Lumara expecting a long back-and-forth but they sorted it out so quickly and without any attitude. They swapped it to the Sage and it arrived faster than I expected. The colour is gorgeous in person, very earthy and rich. The customer service alone would make me a repeat customer but the hat quality seals the deal.

What stood out to me is how structured the hats are — they hold their shape even after I squished them into my bag on a trip. The ruffled brim bounces right back. Also the cotton yarn feels premium, not scratchy or cheap like some crochet pieces I have owned before. I get compliments every single time I wear either of these. Lumara is genuinely different and I will be buying more colours.

I was hesitant to order online because I have been burned before by hat photos that look nothing like the real thing. The Midnight arrived and I was genuinely relieved — the navy is deep and rich, exactly as shown. My parcel also took slightly longer due to a courier issue and Lumara proactively messaged me with an update before I even had to ask. That kind of service is rare.

I bought these as a birthday gift for my best friend and myself. The packaging was neat and presentable enough to gift directly. My friend was obsessed and immediately went to the Lumara store to order the Ivory. The hats are light enough to wear all day without discomfort and the colours have not faded even after a few wears in the sun. Absolutely love this brand.
